FAMILY ATMOSPHERE

Pillar of Truth Church literally believes that a true New Testament Church is comprised of groups of people called out to serve Jehovah God as a Family of Brothers and Sisters. The sciptures are replete with examples of Christians calling each other brothers and sisters. The book of Ephesians calls the Church in heaven and on earth the Family of God. The whole family in heaven and on earth is named by the name of Jesus Christ. We receive that name when we go down into the water after faith and repentance.
BENEVOLENCY FUND MINISTRY: Just as a natural family is suppose to care for one another so also is the spiritual family of God. Pillar of Truth has a Benevolency Fund to minister to the needs of the saints. We have helped many brothers and sisters through tough times. The Benevolency Fund has been used to help people with food, utility bills, car bills, or to purchase a car. If a brother or sister is in need and we do nothing to help while we have the ability to do so; the apostle asks, "How does the love of God dwell in us?
SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP MEALS: Pillar of Truth further promotes a family atmosphere by offering a fellowship meal with their church family immediately after each Sunday Service. Depending on the length of the service we take about an hour or two to eat together and spend a lot of time in good clean fun and fellowship.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

The Music Ministry of Pillar of Truth Church has a small praise team singing upbeat contemporary Christian Music. We use a very large screen and an overhead projector to clearly display each song so that all worshippers are able to sing along. We always have a great time loving and worshipping Jehovah God with all of our hearts. We worship the One True God in Spirit and in Truth. Most visitors usually love our praise and worship services. The Spirit of God is always strong in our services. Even the unsaved tell us that they feel the presence of God very strong when they visit. We thank God for that!
