Dear Neighbor:

On behalf of our Church, I warmly welcome your visit to our web site!

Whether you just decide to visit Long Island’s lovely east end, or you are looking for an Apostolic Church that you can call home, (See WE BELIEVE for "What’s An Apostolic Church?") we would like to extend a warm invitation to you to be our guest in any of our public services. 

If you are a devout Apostolic Christian living outside of our area and would like to visit Long Island for a vacation, or a business trip, etc., please contact us in advance so we may be prepared for your visit (be prepared to give your Pastor’s Name and Phone #). Some of our Church members, including myself, have adequate space to provide Christian hospitality for a short stay. Moreover, you may call us for information about taking a vacation on Long Island’s rustic east end. There are many tourist attractions.

One of the most important things we can promise you here at Pillar of Truth Church is that you will sense the love of God among God’s people, and you will see it demonstrated in action. I endeavor to constantly teach and preach a balanced message of both God’s love and His severity. Jesus declared that the whole world would know his true disciples by their love for one another. Jesus laid down his life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

We are not just a congregation. We are a Church Family of caring brothers and sisters in Christ who share a common experience of like precious salvation through which we are equipped to love each other in action. Just as the book of Acts Church had a readiness to display the love of God through their sharing of material possessions, so do we endeavor to be like minded. Our benevolence fund has been frequently used to provide for the desperate needs that sometimes arise among elderly, disabled and hard-working Christians. We have used the benevolence fund to take up offerings for Church members in need of food, transportation, oil burner repair, shelter, and other emergencies that have surfaced. We truly believe you will find a warm welcome here at Pillar of Truth Church, and people who really do care about you.
